If Elizabeth Taylor carried Vaseline lip therapy in one of her lavender bags, I wager it would've looked like the new "bejeweled" Vaseline lip case pictured above. Isn't it cute? Bravo “Mad Fashion” star and famed costume designer Chris March has collaborated with Vaseline® to design this fabbie limited-edition bejeweled Vaseline® Lip Therapy® Original jar. Chris March has been a favorite of mine since he was on Project Runway. Later, he designed an amazing Oscar Red Carpet gown for Meryl Streep. As a designer, Chris March is an absolute gem! Now he continues his stylish ways with this little cosmetic jar. The jar is a cheap & cheerful bit of sparkle that makes a perfect stocking stuffer for your BFFs or your favorite divas. The jar is customized with nearly $50.00 US of Swarovski crystals. It is fashionable but also très functional. And that's why I'm giving this little goody away here on The Recessionista. Happy Hols y'all. These little sparklers are still available at Wal-Mart and Target (SRP $1.99) this holiday season, so look for them. For the price point, you can't beat these little bits of bling.
To get these online, go to www.VaselineLipTherapy.com on 12/19 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT for a one-day flash giveaway of the special Swarovski jars. Warning, there will only be a 100, so set up a Google Calendar Alert/reminder or cell phone alert if you want one. Definitely will. I love Vaseline.
ReplyDeleteI have been a huge swarovski collector since 1983 and have belonged to their club since its inception in 1986. To show you how much I love the company, I became the 200 plus member, meaning I was the 2 hundred plus person to become a member of their club. Now there are millions of people in the club so that shows how dedicated I am. I have built beautiful locked glass display cases to show off my swarovski crystal, which I absolutely love. When I get upset or depressed, I put on the lights in the display case which reflects off the crystal and it does something to me to change my mood, uplifting me. When I saw this bottle up for a giveaway, my heart skipped a few thousand beats. It was love at first sight and I still can't take my eyes off the picture, having made a copy of it and taping it by my computer just to admire it. Although my first instinct is to immediately put the jar in my display case if I should win, I realize that in order to enjoy it, I need to actually use it and then put the jar in my case. I also would want to show this jar to as many people as possible, showing them the generosity of vaseline, blogging about it and letting them admire it as well hoping they would start using vaseline because of seeing this gorgeous decorative jar. So as hard as it would be to fight my impulse to hide away the jar, I would carry the jar with me and show as many people as possible.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the most wonderful giveaway in the world. Happy Holidays and Good Luck To All.
